Vintage Gloves Round-Up

I came across this photo of my friend Ginger Kessinger the other day and couldn’t help but ask to use it on this blog! Isn’t this a precious picture? I *think* she is the little girl wearing gloves and she mentioned in some comments how much the accessory is missing in today’s fashion. Boy, do I agree! I’m hoping gloves make a comeback, along with everything else vintage.
I did some e-shopping today and came up with a round-up of some PRETTY sweet vintage gloves. Why buy new when you can avoid it? I’ve bought gloves at a few different yard sales over the year, too — keep your eyes peeled at sales and auctions especially if you have tiny wrists and hands. Vintage is small — so small people do often rule in this circumstance.
Everyday Use:Gloves with Gold Chain: $11.99

Red. Cute little chain detail. Fuzzy warm lining. Perfect for the t-shirt, jeans, and jacket type outfit.
Wedding Guest Dress-Up: Crochet Victorian Gloves : $89.99

Delicate. One-of-a-kind. I imagine: yellow dress, navy blue summer jacket, white gloves and accessories.
Road Trip : Art Nouveau Gloves : $88.00

Early 1900s. Undeniably wonderful embroidery. Match any outfit. Will generate compliments.
Dress Up : Sparkly Glove : $50.00

Beautiful. Elegant. Vintage. Perfect for the pretentious parties.
Rock Show : Leather Motorcycle Gloves : $45.00

Cannot go wrong with these. Cannot. Go. Wrong. Sweet girl, but she’s a little rough around the edges.
